Attorney Websites and Marketing: Strategies and Approaches
A Panel with Russ Korins, Esq., Russ Korins Consulting LLC
and Graham Murray, Lookit Design
To help lawyers better manage their careers during this tough economy, the New York State Bar Association Committee on Lawyers in Transition is continuing its series of free, live Career Development webcasts. On Tuesday, October 18, 2011, the Committee will sponsor a free webcast on Attorney Websites and Marketing from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).
Great marketing, including an engaging website, can help an attorney attract great clients. But keeping strategy and design considerations in mind can make a big difference in success. This seminar, presented by law firm marketing consultant Russ Korins and designer Graham Murray, will show participants how to make sure online and offline marketing deliver results. We will discuss:
• Laying a strategic foundation: understanding your best clients, your best referral sources, and your practice areas, and the marketing messages that will motivate people to hire you.
• Translating this strategic foundation into a great website design, as well as business cards, letterhead, and other materials, that truly reflects your practice: the colors, fonts, layout, navigation, and content that will convert visitors to clients and referral sources.
• Measuring success with web usage tracking tools such as Google Analytics.
• Increasing traffic through email marketing and search engine optimization.
If you want to be proactive about how your practice develops and make your marketing as valuable as possible, this seminar is for you.
